How often is my domain checked?

Every hour, using a combination of DNS and WHOIS lookups via Google DNS. As soon as availability changes, we send an email immediately.

No - we are a monitoring service, not a registrar. As soon as the domain becomes available we send you an instant email so you can register it yourself at the registrar of your choice.

Can the same domain be monitored by multiple users?

Yes. As soon as a domain becomes available we send an instant notification to everyone monitoring it. You register yourself at the registrar of your choice - whoever registers first becomes the owner.

How long after release before I can register?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the TLD. After expiry, a .com domain goes through a full lifecycle of around 75 days (auto-renew grace, redemption, then pendingDelete) before it is truly released. Country TLDs typically take around 30 days (and up to 40 days for .nl). We send the alert the moment the domain is definitively available for registration.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open your dashboard, click "Cancel subscription" and confirm. Your monitoring stays active until the end of the paid period — then it stops automatically, with no further charges.

Will I receive an invoice?

Accepted Answer

Yes, every payment generates an invoice that we email to you as a PDF. Older invoices are also available in your dashboard.

How does VAT work?

EU customers pay VAT at their own country's standard rate via the VAT-OSS scheme. EU B2B customers with a valid VAT number are reverse-charged (0%). Customers outside the EU pay 0%.

Which payment methods are supported?

Accepted Answer

Credit/debit card, SEPA Direct Debit and country-specific methods (IDEAL | Wero, Bancontact, etc.) via Mollie. After the first payment, all renewals are charged automatically.
